About me
I am a growth-focused executive with deep experience scaling companies, optimizing operations, and driving revenue. Over the course of my career, I have led businesses through rapid expansion, executive transitions, and high-stakes financial events, including fundraising, M&A, and public listings.
Currently, I design and execute scalable growth plans for companies looking to drive revenue, enter new markets, and create sustainable success. I partner with CEOs, CFOs, senior leaders and investors to align on a vision, implement data-driven models, and execute strategies for long-term, profitable growth.
As COO and CRO of Leafly, I played a pivotal role in growing the company from startup to public listing, scaling revenue from $7M to $50M ARR, and increasing market penetration of a hyper-fragmented and rapidly-expanding industry from 35% to 60%. I helped lead Leafly’s fundraising, corporate strategy, and business transformation, establishing the company as a category leader in a complex, highly-regulated industry.
Before stepping into executive leadership, I built a career at the intersection of content, business strategy, and revenue growth. I started as a college professor at age 24, transitioned into editorial work at Time Inc., and later applied my storytelling expertise to help companies craft compelling narratives, including investor messaging and brand positioning. My experience bridging content, marketing, sales, and finance gives me a unique ability to connect revenue strategy with operational execution.
I live in Seattle with my wife and two young children.
